    Network Technician / Network Specialist, Full-time exempt plus benefits, with overtime potential
    The Network Specialist must have 2-5 years (not necessarily job) experience with maintaining and working with Windows desktop and laptop computers, as well as familiarity of Windows 2000 and 2003 servers. Candidate should be very comfortable and patient with supporting end users' needs/questions. The position is responsible for performing a variety of network related tasks, coordinated by the Network Project Manager. Candidate should be able to work well with minimal supervision, be responsible, flexible, professional, honest, and willing to work with a growing dynamic technology firm. Strong desktop hardware background is required.

    P O S I T I O N   D U T I E S :
    - Assist with acquiring and preparing new PCs for users for clients.
    - Position may require candidate to be "available" at times 24x7 to troubleshoot network/server outages.
    - Work w/ various technologies including desktops, servers, printers, network peripherals, & network infrastructure.
    - Regularly recommend purchases and technologies that may benefit our clients organizations.
    - Travel to client locations and to troubleshoot and maintain networks.

    P O S I T I O N   S K I L L S :
    - Strong Windows 2000, XP desktop support skills
    - Strong documentation skills
    - Strong personal and communication skills
    - Strong organizational skills
    - Strong hardware installation and troubleshooting skills
    - B.S. in technology-related field
    - Strong knowledge of Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP Professional setup and configuration understanding
    - Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 server, administration & maintenance
    - Ability to troubleshoot most MS Office questions and concerns - have a strong working understanding of Office Professional
    - Working knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls
    - Firm understanding of TCP/IP routing, subnetting, and Windows networking, as well as CAT5e Ethernet cabling requirements
